The Body Center Philosophy

At the Body Center Physical Therapy and Pilates Studio, we believe you need to feel good so you can do good. If you have an injury, then it is essential that the source of the problem is clearly understood and the resulting dysfunction is properly addressed in a rehabilitation program. It is critical that the underlying impairments and altered biomechanics be improved or restored in order for you to achieve your goals. This type of comprehensive evaluation and clinical reasoning can only be done by a physical therapist. No other healthcare professional is as well trained in observing, evaluating and treating human movement dysfunction than a Physical Therapist. As rehabilitative experts, we believe we can help you understand your physical problems, devise effective treatment plans to help you reach your activity goals and teach you to manage or solve your problem independently.

While rehabilitation is focused on helping the body achieve an optimal healing environment and is implicitly a time limited event, wellness is a lifestyle of healthy choices that positively influences the body, mind, and soul. Our Pilates Studio can be part of the healthy diet for the body and mind that will help you to “feel good so you can do good.” Our highly trained and certified Pilates Instructors will guide you through exercise repertoire focused on improving your flexibility, muscular endurance, and core strength while harnessing your mind to control most intricate movements. We believe in wellness as a whole, meaning that your balanced body and a well focused mind will help you feel good so you can do good.
