Jeffrey
L. Fairley, PT, DPT, OCS
Doctor of
Physical Therapy
Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist
Jeff Fairley holds a doctoral
degree in Physical Therapy from
the University of Southern
California, graduating from the
number one physical therapy
program in the nation in 1997.
He is Board Certified Clinical
Specialist in Orthopedic
Physical Therapy, a designation
granted by the American Physical
Therapy Association after
completing a rigorous
examination. After a year in
clinical practice Jeff was
admitted into the Kaiser
Permanente Orthopedic Physical
Therapy Residency Program in
2002. The Kaiser Residency
program is one of the oldest
accredited Physical Therapy
Residency programs in the
country and is the innovating
force for a number of advanced
clinical training programs in
physical therapy. Jeff joined an
elite few physical therapists in
the county to be both a
Residency and Fellowship
graduate after completing Kaiser
Permanente Manual Therapy
Fellowship program in 2003. This
dynamic coursework combined
training in manual therapy
techniques from around the world
with ground breaking movement
science and motor control
education all under the careful
guidance of clinical experts
from around the country. As a
result of this advanced clinical
training Jeff joined the USC
faculty as a full time clinical
instructor in 2004. In this role
Jeff was a primary educator of
doctoral students in the
clinical environment, while also
acting as the lead therapist at
the USC University Hospital
Outpatient Rehabilitation
Center. The USCUH Outpatient
Rehabilitation Center is
adjacent to the Doctors of USC’s
medical office building, which
afforded a unique opportunity to
work directly with the
Orthopedic surgeons of USC. In
2006, Jeff together with his
wife Bekah opened a private
practice, The Body Center
Physical Therapy and Pilates in
Claremont, California. Jeff
remains active with the USC
Division of Biokinesiology and
Physical Therapy as an adjunct
clinical instructor.
