Jeffrey L. Fairley PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Jeff Fairley is the owner and principle treating therapist at The Body Center Physical Therapy.
Jeff holds a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science (’97) and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (’00) both from University of Southern California. Jeff earned his board certification as a specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy in 2002 while completing the Kaiser Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency program. He continued additional post graduate education in Manual Physical Therapy at the Kaiser Fellowship Program in Manual Therapy in 2003.
As a practicing physical therapist Jeff has worked in a variety of settings including acute, cardiac, rehab but has concentrated on out-patient orthopedic and ambulatory neurological physical therapy. Comprehensive spinal care including manual joint mobilization, motor control re-education and reformer based pilates exercise training is the foundation of Jeff’s specialty. Pre and post operative rehabilitation of peripheral joints utilizing a validated and reproducible clinical reasoning approach are hallmarks of Jeff’s care. Jeff also runs the pelvic floor rehab program centered around a computer based biofeedback system that assists in the restoration of pelvic muscle function and urinary continence.
Jeff is a self described “foot nerd” who enjoys treating the often avoided and complicated area. From functional taping to custom orthotics, happy feet are seen leaving The Body Center after seeing Jeff. From head to toe and everywhere in between, Jeff has your patients’ covered.
Bekah M. Fairley PT, MPT
Bekah Fairley is the co-owner and physical therapist at the Body Center Physical Therapy.
She received a Bachelors degree in Biology/Physiology with a minor in Chemistry (’01) at Cal State Long Beach and a Masters degree of Health Sciences (’04) at Western University. Bekah earned her board certification in strength and conditioning in 2002. Bekah is involved with all the day to day operations of the physical therapy clinic and Pilates Studio. She continues to use her specialization in strength and conditioning while treating patients with movement dysfunctions utilizing Pilates based approach.
Sara M. Jacobs PT, DPT, OCS
Sara Jacobs is a dedicated, organized and dependable team member at The Body Center Physical Therapy.
Sara was board certified in orthopedic physical therapy in 2006 and is a member of APTA. She began her schooling at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa where she received a Bachelors in Applied Health (’99) and Masters in Physical Therapy (’04). She completed her Doctoral degree for Physical Therapy (’08) at Western University in Pomona.
Sara has been a staff physical therapist at several clinics where she often worked with patients who had work-related injuries, sports injuries, TMJ dysfunction, vestibular disorders, or neurological disorders. She has experience with clinical development and interviewing, training and supervising support staff. Sara has had clinical experience all over California where she has learned everything from evaluating and treating pediatric patients with developmental delay and orthopedic issues to observing gait and posture for movement analysis.
Sara has a particularly high interest in hands-on physical therapy with post-professional courses in Australian physical therapy approaches as well as cutting edge course work in movement science and neuro-motor control based interventions. Sara currently manages The Body Center support staff and is the clinical coordinator for physical therapy education at The Body Center.
Amanda Morgan, PT, MPT, CSCS
Amanda is the most recent addition to The Body Center Physical Therapy, with a Master’s of Physical Therapy and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.
Amanda is a native to El Dorado County, CA. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at CSU Sacramento. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Therapeutic Exercise & Rehabilitation in 2008, and received her Master’s of Physical Therapy Degree in 2010. In order to further build her knowledge of exercise prescription and stay current with research pertaining to exercise she became certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in 2010. To stay current in the practice of Physical Therapy she has been a member of the APTA since 2008. Her next professional goal is to become board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Her greatest area of interest and experience in Physical Therapy is in the outpatient setting. Through her experience she has treated individuals with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. She has helped them achieve a multitude of patient centered rehabilitation goals. She prides herself in providing patients with a comprehensive treatment plan, and believes strongly in the effectiveness of exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.
