Sara Jacobs is a dedicated, organized and dependable team member at The Body Center Physical Therapy.

Sara was board certified in orthopedic physical therapy in 2006 and is a member of APTA. She began her schooling at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa where she received a Bachelor’s in Applied Health (’99) and Master’s in Physical Therapy (’04). She completed her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (’08) at Western University in Pomona.

Sara has been a staff physical therapist at several clinics, where she often worked with patients who had work-related injuries, sports injuries, TMJ dysfunction, vestibular disorders, or neurological disorders. She has experience with clinical development and interviewing, training and supervising support staff. Sara has had clinical experience all over California, where she has learned everything from evaluating and treating pediatric patients with developmental delay and orthopedic issues to observing gait and posture for movement analysis.

Sara has a particularly high interest in hands-on physical therapy with post-professional courses in Australian physical therapy approaches as well as cutting edge course work in movement science and neuro-motor control-based interventions. Sara currently manages The Body Center support staff and is the clinical coordinator for physical therapy education at The Body Center.
